Every Blend food hall has its own personality, but there’s one constant behind every single one: the legendary crew of the builders who somehow turn empty shells into bustling, beautiful spaces where people gather, eat, and laugh.
These are the heroes that run on caffeine, instinct, and a wild playlist.
And this latest food hall? They outdid themselves. Again.
From hard hats to party hats: how our builders took over VIP night. If you’ve ever wondered what happens when you give a team of builders a beautifully finished food hall and a VIP night with free drinks vouchers, the answer is: magic. Pure, unfiltered magic. They arrived in their outfits, surprisingly sharp, and immediately made themselves at home. The team got the ultimate reward: Paddy rolled in with his iconic dishes from Jimmy’s (yes, you can see him buried somewhere in the pic below). After all, they built the place. Literally.
We wanted to highlight the things our builders said during the build (and what we think they meant).
A few gems from the months of construction:
“It’ll be done in a minute” translates to: “It’ll be done when it’s done.”
“We just need to tweak this,” Means “nobody panic.”
“That’s level enough.” Translation: “Gravity will sort it out.”
These phrases are now part of the Blend vocabulary. We hear them in our sleep.
Jokes aside, there’s a reason we love the Blend Made team.
They care.
They problem-solve like it’s a competitive sport.
They take pride in every detail, even the ones that no one will ever see.
They stay calm when plans change, when walls move, when someone decides a doorway should be “just a smidge to the left.”
They show up early, stay late, and somehow keep smiling through the dust, noise, and endless coffee runs.
