Questions we get a lot...
Do you open on bank holidays?
Yes! We will be open on bank holidays, but may be subject to some changes in opening hours.
Are your opening times different over Christmas?
Yes, they are often slightly different but the information will be found on our site.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes! Well-behaved dogs are always welcome! We don’t allow any other pets.
I have lost an item, what do I do now?
Please email hello@alfredworks.co.uk. All lost items will be stored by our team for 2 weeks. Alternatively, you can come and talk to our bar staff, and they will try to help you find your lost item!
When are your opening/closing hours?
We normally open at 8 AM and close at 11 PM on weekdays. On Sundays we open at 9 AM and close at 10:30 PM. Bank holidays and Christmas hours may be subject to changes.
How do I book for private hire?

What events do you have?
We do a range of events for all ages, and you can see what we’ve got on here
Are children allowed past a certain time?
Children are welcome until 9 PM in the evening. We welcome families and encourage them to enjoy our children’s play area and Kids Eat Free deals which you can find here
Can I bring my bike in?
Bikes can be stored outside of the venue. We encourage you to lock your bikes as we do not take responsibility for stolen items. For health and safety reasons, we cannot really accept bikes inside our space.

Can I still come to an event even though it’s sold out?
It would not be advisable to come to an event even if it is sold out but you are always welcome to still come along to the food hall. Events, unless private hire, do not interfere with the normal running of the space.
Do you offer a student discount?
Yes! Just make sure to show your student ID to our bar staff/food partners.
Where can I see your menu?
Menus are ever changing to keep things fresh, authentic and vibrant but you can get a flavour of our food by visiting our Food Partner pages here. Menus will be available in front of all of our kitchens within the food hall, and we have an app available too which shows live menus at the time.
Are you halal/gluten free/vegan?
Yes, some of our food partners offer these options!
Do you offer a Blue Light discount?
No, we don’t offer a Blue Light discount.
Are you a walk-in food hall?
We do accept bookings for larger groups over 10 guests, private hire or corporate hire but generally, we are a walk-in venue.
Do you have any parking?
While we don’t have on site parking, there are a few car parks close-by, such as Trinity Street Car Park at 29 Heath Mill Ln, Deritend, Birmingham B9 4AL and North Yard Car Park at Custard Factory, Deritend, Birmingham B5 5ST.
